Chok "This has to be the best cronut I have had so..."

Now where we were staying was about a 20 minute walk from Las Ramblas, however, for some reason it felt like we were walking for twice as long. On the way to the famous street we came across a window adorned with delicious doughnuts and cronuts

I was immediately seduced. Yes, seduced.

I went inside to be and was welcomed by all the delicious goodies I could possibly eat.

Chok sell a variety of products from cakes, doughnuts and cronuts to handmade truffles and chocolate bar.

So what did I get???

Well I wasn't able to get as much because I wasn't very well (I actually had the "duttiest" food poisoning from a famous food chain (no, it wasn't BaoBao). I actually suspect that the rice wasn't cooked probably and you can't mess around with rice and Bacillus cereus). Nevertheless, I tried the passionfruit cronut.

This has to be the best cronut I have had so!!!! Look at my greedy face scoffing down the food (and my ass is meant to be sick).

Not only could I actually taste the passionfruit flavour but the cronut was surprisingly light. There was a nice cream topping with pistachios and under the cream, there was icing. It was delicious, I wish I had more.....(you know me by now I'm always wishing to fill my stomach up) but I couldn't for previous reasons stated.

I actually don't know how I survived. I was a hot mess and...... it was hot??? I think the cronut helped immensely to be honest.

Anyway if you are visiting Las Ramblas in Barcelona check out Chok its a good pit stop if you want to veer off the popular tourist strip.
